Rabbi Brian’s Teaching at the 2010 MJAA SW Regional Conference in Irvine Ca. 2-14-2010
June 26th, 2010
Come explore the calling of Israel, and understand the role of non-Jewish believers in God’s redemptive plan of salvation. Rabbi Brian will endeavor to differentiate between the various “branches” in Israel’s Olive Tree, as unity and diversity is discussed in relation to Romans 11, to reveal their Divine destinies. We will discuss how outreach to the Jew first can remain the focus of Messianic Judaism, without ignoring the purpose and engrafting of Gentiles into the Abraham’s Family Tree; therefore allowing each individual calling of the two groups to remain intact as the “Commonwealth of Israel”.
Pentecost or Shavuot?
May 19th, 2010
What is Pentecost?
Pentecost is not a denomination or an esoteric emotional experience. It happens to be a mandated “Jewish Festival”, or actually a “Feast of the Lord”, that was commanded by the Lord for all Israel, and their righteous “converts” [or God-fearing Gentiles] to keep and celebrate. There are a total of seven holy convocations or festivals that God commanded Israel to keep. Three of them had to be kept by all adult males (from 13yrs. and up – after their Bar Mitzvah) as a pilgrimage to Jerusalem.
